Greater Manchester has a Patient Safety Research Collaborative (PSRC). This year our Chief Executive Officer Neil Walbran, who is the patient and public lead on the Greater Manchester PSRC Board, appears on the National Institute for Health Research's new podcast 'Voices for Safety' to discuss topics surrounding patient safety. You can listen to it on their official YouTube channel NIHR Greater Manchester PSRC.
A large part of patient safety involved correctly identifying and treating different illnesses. Unfortunately, sometimes people experience a misdiagnosis where they are incorrectly informed about an illness they may or may not have, for example when receiving a diagnosis for a Cancer and Mental Health illness. We would like to know if you have an experienced a situation like this yourself.
Do you have any experience with misdiagnosis? Tell us today through our 'Contact-Us' form.
